Last month, Birds Eye was able to be apart of a very special event involving a 7-year-old kid named Alex. He has been battling cancer and has always had a wish to become Robin and help fight crime with Batman. We were able to help document his wish as it became a reality. It was an amazing experience and we wish Alex and his family the best with his battle!

Gary King’s “Unnerved” Premiere Sizzle

Last week, Birds Eye Productions had the pleasure to work with director Gary King on his latest feature film “Unnerved.” We shot for 2 days in the beautiful state of Maine. During this shoot Birds Eye provided a lot of different shots, some being unconventional in the sense that they weren’t really aerials. We don’t want to give away any details but check out this awesome sizzle reel for his new film.

Birds Eye also used our new SteadiFly handheld gimbal stabilizer on multiple shots. Gary and the crew were impressed at how well it worked for the shots they needed!

For more information about the film, behind the scenes photos, and more check out their website at

If you have visited ASU’s main web page anytime lately you may have noticed some new aerial shots being used on their background! These shots were provided by Birds Eye Productions. Go Check them out by visiting ASU’s website.

ASU Foundation Promotional Video

Earlier this summer Birds Eye Productions had the pleasure of shooting with members of the ASU Foundation to put together a new promotional video! This video premiered for the first time at ASU’s first home football game last Thursday. It will be played during each home game for the rest of the season.

One interesting fact about this shoot was they actually tried to get the aerial shots using a real helicopter (the one seen in the commercial) but were unable to get usable footage. Thats when they decided to call us!

Please take a look and let us know what you think!

Owl & Penny: Candy Teeth Music Video

Here is the latest music video we had the privilege of working on. The video was produced by Red Arrow Productions. They asked Birds Eye Productions about getting some aerial shots to push the video to the next level of production value. The location that was chosen was a beautiful place near the mountains east of Phoenix Arizona.

For this shoot we were flying our large heavy-lift copter carrying a Canon 5dMKII.

For more information about the band please visit Owl & Penny‘s Facebook page.
